The basis of UrbanSand is created by a selection of specifically graded silica sand particles (which create sufficient pore space in the growing media allowing oxygen and moisture to penetrate into the root zone and at the same time allow strong root development). The sand is mixed with the addition of matured, quality guaranteed organic material, which provides the essential nutrients needed to enable good growth.
